This 3.5-hour guided hiking tour in Antigua offers easy trails and panoramic views, suitable for beginner hikers and culture enthusiasts.
Your adventure begins at Heritage Quay Pier, where you meet your local guide. Travel 30 minutes by air-conditioned vehicle to the hiking start point. The route features forest trails, large boulders to hop over, and overlooks key landmarks including the Pillars of Hercules at English Harbour’s entrance.
Explore the 18th-century Nelson’s Dockyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with historic architecture, the Clarence House ruins, and the Dockyard Museum. Nelson’s Dockyard once served as a protected naval harbor and offers views of nearby Guadeloupe.
Continue south along the coast, passing Fort Berkeley, an 18th-century fort that formerly held 29 cannons. From here, you can see yachts and islands such as Montserrat across the Caribbean Sea. The hike concludes with south side island skyline and water views before returning to the port.
