Gibraltar Nature Reserve and Barbary Macaques Tour
This guided tour explores Gibraltar's Nature Reserve and Barbary macaques, suitable for nature lovers and travelers based near Marbella, Estepona, or La Cala.
Description
Travel by private vehicle along the coast to central Gibraltar or the airport area. Due to cable car maintenance, a minibus will transport you to the Rock of Gibraltar. Here, observe the Barbary macaques up close and visit vantage points overlooking Gibraltar and the Spanish mainland. On clear days, you can also see Africa in the distance.
The bus tour continues through the Nature Reserve, featuring caves such as St. Michael's Cave with its light show, the skywalk, and other historical sites. Learn about Gibraltar's natural environment and history during the visit.
After descending, enjoy time in the town center with opportunities for tax-free shopping before returning by car to the pick-up location.
Note: The cable car is closed for maintenance; the alternative taxi bus tour includes visits to the Nature Park, monkey areas, skywalk, and St. Michael's Cave (sometimes the tunnels). Book at least two days in advance. Changes and cancellations may apply as tickets are pre-booked.
