Description
Your guide will pick you up at the designated time and location before departing for Córdoba. During the journey, the guide will outline the day’s itinerary and share insights about the landscape and the city.
Upon arrival, the coach will drop you off near the Roman Bridge. You will have five hours in Córdoba, including a two-hour guided tour and at least two and a half hours of free time, which includes time for lunch.
The guided walk starts at Torre de la Calahorra, crossing the Roman Bridge and the Guadalquivir River, passing the Puerta del Puente, and leading to the meeting point with your local guide. The tour covers Córdoba’s Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring narrow streets, squares, traditional courtyards, and Calle de las Flores.
You will also explore the Jewish Quarter, enter the Synagogue, and take a full tour of the Mosque-Cathedral. The Mosque-Cathedral, once the world’s second-largest mosque and now a cathedral, impresses with its forest of columns and colorful arches, reflecting centuries of history and diverse cultures.
After the guided portion, enjoy free time in the city center to stroll, shop for local crafts including the famous Cordoban filigree, or have lunch.
At the scheduled time and place, you will return to the Costa del Sol.
