We recommend leaving an hour before sunrise, as nothing beats seeing the sun rise above the horizon to start a new day. The crossing takes approximately 5-6 hours, providing a good chance to spot marine life. Keep an eye out for pods of dolphins, turtles, moonfish, and even whales. Situated on North Africa’s north coast, Ceuta lies along the boundary between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, offering breathtaking views of Morocco in Africa and Spain and Gibraltar in Europe.
